Ever notice that we all want immediate success?
Whether it’s “How to lose 25 pounds by Wednesday”, “Ten Tips to Greater Wealth in 30 Days”, “How You Can be a Great Speaker in Five Easy Lessons” or even “Be Healthy Without Lifting a Finger”.
We want it now. And we want the short cut. Millions of books are sold to give you the short-cut. But successful people like scientists, authors, performers, athletes, musicians or just happily married people, put in a lot of time getting to their goal. Whether you believe Malcolm Gladwell’s 10,000 hour rule, based on the work of psychologist Anders Ericson, that 10,000 hours of practice is needed to become excellent at anything….one thing is certain…you do need to put lots of time into being good. |
Sorry, like the unicorn, Peter Pan and Santa Claus, there is no short cut.

Why: Here’s what you need....
|
How and What: Now that you’re found your why…..what’s next? For you to successfully apply your beliefs you must make them a habit. Aside from time, this takes several things, among them:
- Dissatisfaction with your current situation
- Vision - what do you look like, feel like and sound like when you are successful?
- First Steps - what to do, at least what are the first few things to tackle (notice that action is critical, thinking about it will make you feel better but tomorrow you wake up unchanged),
- Support in the form of encouragement and feedback….a coach, your Dad, brother or boss, for example.
- All of this must be greater than your resistance to change. This resistance is created by your subconscious comfort with the current known situation rather than the unknown of the future.
In 1969, a psychologist David Gleicher called this the formula for change and expressed it as:
D x V x F x S >R (Actually Dr. Allan Cohen added the (S) Support years later)
D x V x F x S >R (Actually Dr. Allan Cohen added the (S) Support years later)
So what does Expect Success do?
• First we ask you to examine your dissatisfaction. (If you’re OK with your life nothing will change)
• Next we develop a vision using the 17 principles of one of the masters….Napoleon Hill.
• You decide on your first steps after getting ideas from others in your group, it’s not one size fits all.
• You are placed in a facilitated Master Mind Group with abundant support.
• Your greatest challenge- you have to decide about resistance to change……can you overcome the natural tendency to stay where you are….or take a giant leap….(actually lots of small steps) to become the best you can be
We believe you can…the rest is up to you.
This is your CALL TO ACTION-Come to a FREE three part series of Master Mind sessions…see what it’s all about…then decide. Or you can read a book about success and hope it magically transforms you, or you can attend a phenomenal 3 day workshop somewhere or listen to a CD…attend a webinar…there are thousands of short cuts. Or do you want results? We thought so…do it. |
